Alumni Board of Directors
The Alumni Board of Directors is here to serve you and the greater Warrior community. All board members are elected by vote at the annual Alumni Association meeting. Members of the board serve either a one- or two-year term but may be re-elected when their term is completed.
Some of the ways in which the Alumni Board of Directors serves you and the Warrior community include:
- Assisting the Office of Institutional Advancement in strengthening the university
- Providing a unified voice to the university on alumni-related issues
- Promoting networking and mentoring among both alumni and current students
- Helping plan events and activities to keep you connected to Tech

Committees
Military and Veteran Alumni Committee
Develops online and in-person engagement/events for alumni who are serving or have served in the armed forces.
Alumni Engagement Committee
Assists in hosting alumni engagement activities and events.

Student Engagement Committee
Creates events and opportunities for alumni to support and interact with students.

Alumni Association Annual Meeting
The association’s annual meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of November. The link will be available in events and through the Alumni E-Newsletter.

Alumni Board Positions
Board President – The Alumni Board President is responsible for leading the Alumni Board of Directors. This includes but is not limited to running the executive meetings, leading board voting, upholding the bylaws, overseeing activity planning, goals, and execution of the board and committees, and communicates regularly with Indiana Tech and the Institutional Advancement department.
Vice President/President Elect – The Alumni Board Vice President manages board activities when the Board President is unable. This position provides a succession plan form the Board President following his term.
Alumni Board Representative to the Board of Trustees – The Representative to the Board of Trustees, attends University Board of Trustees Meetings on behalf of the alumni population. This role is responsible for sharing the state of the university with the Alumni Board.
Secretary – The Secretary will maintain Alumni Board scheduling and planning, take and share meeting notes, and manage board documents.
Alumni Engagement Chair – This committee chair is responsible for managing the Alumni Engagement Committee. This includes managing events, meeting times and schedule, projects, and activities.
Military and Veteran’s Alumni Committee Chair – This committee chair is responsible for managing the Military and Veteran’s Alumni Committee. This includes managing events, meeting times and schedule, projects, and activities.
Board Member – Members will attended Alumni Board Executive and Open Alumni Meeting. They hold voting power and are able to share in topics discussed at meeting, help plan, host, and execute alumni and university events and activities.
