Presidential Ambassadors
Students at Indiana Tech are central to the university’s mission and are why donors, alumni, and trustees engage with and support the university. Indiana Tech’s Presidential Student Ambassadors serve under the direction of First Mom Maria Einolf to promote and share the student experience at Indiana Tech with the university’s internal and external constituents.
Presidential Ambassadors must strive to be friendly, positive, punctual, and able to answer questions about the university. Ambassadors are an essential element of the university’s public relations process and must always positively represent Indiana Tech both on and off campus.
This is an open application process. Student must meet the following qualifications:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student at the Fort Wayne campus
- Have completed one full academic year at Indiana Tech
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have genuine enthusiasm for Indiana Tech
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the university to alumni, community leaders, donors, and trustees.
- Assist with a minimum of 3 special events per year. Examples of events are the President’s Dinner, Board of Trustee meetings, Homecoming, groundbreaking ceremonies, and Select IT admissions events.
- Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions, typically 4-6 per year.
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0
All applications will be considered. Interviews will be scheduled for April 2025 with applicants who meet the program requirements. The application committee will make their selection of new ambassadors by May 16, 2025. For the school year of 2025-26, the committee will be searching for 10-15 new ambassadors.
